How Things Got Gross
Sometimes life puts you in a pickle. Sometimes you make pickles out of it.
A new hobby. A familiar last name.
2026 was a year of changes — some good, some not so good. Looking for something new, I decided to try my hand at growing herbs, canning and pickling.
What started as a simple hobby quickly became something more. My friends and my daughter's teammates loved the homemade pickles I made.
That's when I had a thought: I've spent my whole life with the last name Gross. Why not finally put it to good use?
And just like that, Gross Pickled Things was born!
Today, I'm experimenting with new flavors, unexpected ingredients and all kinds of homemade creations. Because sometimes the best things in life are a little Gross.
